Tips are at your discretion, but greatly appreciated
We recommend the use of biodegradable sunscreen to help with the preservation of coral reefs. You can purchase biodegradable lotion at our office for $200 MXN ($12 USD).
We recommend bringing a towel, a hat and sunglasses. We recommend you bring a jacket or sweater during winter months as well.
* This activity is only offered from October to April, in accordance with the rules and schedules established by SEMARNAT (Mexican Department of Wildlife)
** Wildlife abundance is unpredictable and, although sightings are not guaranteed, the odds are definitely in your favor. In the past two seasons (2017-2018 and 2018-2019), we had a success rate of 100% for whale shark sightings on our tours.
